WHY THE NAME:  

Here at RC, we realize that the culture we live in is in constant transition. Technological breakthroughs, and post-modern thinking are affecting every aspect of our society. With this continual change, comes a challenge for the Church to maintain itself as the most powerful catalyst on earth, while at the same time being "relevant" in it’s methodology. The decision to call ourselves Relevant Church coincides with our desire to fulfill the mission to bring an unchanging timeless message of hope and love to a generation as fluid as ours. We know there are lots of hurdles to overcome in order to gain the trust of people who have no religious background, and regain the trust of people who have been jaded by "church" and we’re willing to try.  RC doesn't promote religion, but fosters relationships (with God and other people).  The bottom line is, we just want to be "real."
